About Me

I'm a freelance artist / graphic artist and designer / illustrator. I have a large varied portfolio with samples of work as a conventional and digital artist. I use Photoshop exclusively for all designing, digital drawing, painting, and rendering, photo-retouch and collaging. I've had educational experience at the U of M College of Architecture & Design (Drawing & Painting), San Francisco Institute of Art, Washtenaw Community College, and the College of Creative Studies in Detroit. At Ford Motor Company I transcended from the Graphic Arts Dept. to the Technical Illustration Dept. where I did high level engine renderings from CAD drawings provided, along with numerous graphic designs for logos, posters, presentations, web mastheads and home page designs for Ford websites.

I do designs and final preparation of digital art for web pages, but not the actual web mechanics.
I've built up digital art "fine art" files for subsequent large format printing - some abstract - some landscape or more representational - a wide variety of images. I feel that I have genuine artistic feel for the 2D image, am continually experimenting with it, and strive to make an image that one could almost "hear".
